LUCI’FER LUSCIOUS VIOLENOUE – VAMPIRE WITH FOLDED WINGS [TSUBASA ORARETA VAMPIRE] (2002)

I’ve translated it in the prose style employed in the written version of the original lyrics. Translation and notes under the cut.

Having realized this is, indeed, a dream, I climbed up the spiral staircase with a candle in one hand. Lurking in the corner tower of a castle deep within the forests of Hungary, my beloved vampire, with skin turned pale, searching for life-blood as he prowls about eternity. Realizing the plans of the demons, now he has descended the spiral stairs in pursuit of a sacrifice. With wounded wings he was abandoned by the sky, and he wishes to see the color of my pupils, behind unopened eyelids. If it is your wish, and it is for your sake, then even if it runs against God’s will… Even if I must sell the world… Please don’t die, my vampire, and don’t let go of these hands I’ve stretched out for you…

Of course I understand that this is a dream, yet, I know you, in this trance, will come to forget me. Red blood, passed from my mouth to yours, dripping; please, somehow, with those aching lips of yours, drink. If it is your wish, and it is for your sake, then even if it runs against God’s will… Even if I must sell the world… Please don’t die, my vampire, and don’t reject these hands I’ve stretched out for you… If it is your wish, and it is for your sake, I’d do anything for you. Of course, this is a dream. Yes, surely, this is a dream. But…
